Wanted: Enthusiastic, Civic-minded Teens as Volunteer Leaders to Improve the Lives of Seniors and Adults with Disabilities
Youth Advisory Board Benefits:
A great way to develop leadership skills, gain fundraising experience and build professional skill-sets that may lead to future employment
Time Commitment:
Attend monthly Youth Advisory Board meetings (12 per year; 1 hour in length each; must attend a minimum of 8 of the 12 meetings annually); actively participate in planning, organizing, and delivering (2 hours per month minimum); total commitment including monthly Youth Advisory Board meetings (between 2 and 4 hours)
Purpose:
To provide a framework for teens to develop opportunities to serve seniors and adults with disabilities within their community.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Listen and actively participate in Youth Advisory Board meetings.

Recruit and help orient new members.

Be accountable to other teens.
