Traumatic Brain Injury
Personal Care Services for Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Caring for a person with a traumatic brain injury puts families in a position that they don't expect to find themselves in. Loved ones who never needed personal care before need assistance with many things, seemingly overnight. At Circle of Care, St. Louis, we provide the support that loved ones and their families need with specialized personal care for clients with brain injuries in the St. Louis area.

We assist clients with different aspects of personal care including:

-
Activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, eating, and toileting
-
Meal preparation and cooking
-
Transferring
-
Light housekeeping

We can assist TBI individuals and their families with applying for the MO Medicaid Traumatic Brain Waiver. Our Home Care Coordinator will complete a comprehensive assessment to submit with the referral to the state for approval. Once services are approved, the Home Care Coordinator and the TBI Individual and family will design a comprehensive care plan that addresses the daily living needs of the individual. Additionally, the Home Care Coordinator will provide community linkage to resources the family needs to help care for their loved one.
Lastly, our staff helps families learn to cope and care for their loved ones with a brain injury.
MO Traumatic Brain Injury Medicaid Wavier services are limited to individuals who:
-
Are between the ages of 21 to 65
-
